7 Days Safari to Mikumi, Ruaha, Udzungwa National Park and Cultural Tour
TRIP OVERVIEW
Mikumi /Ruaha/ Udzungwa is design to full fill the tourist showing the interest in wildlife view. With this tour you will enjoy wonderful game drive and see a lots of animals. Recommend for every body with different age. Destination to destination are fairly far from each other.
ITINERARY
Day 1: Dar es Salaam to Mikumi National Park
Early morning you will meet with our Driver/Guide and get a short safari brief then depart to Mikumi National Park with our Air condition Min van, where its approximately 4-6hours drive from the economic city of Tanzania (Dar es Salaam). Stop point in between for short calls and refreshment with some personal items, arrive at Mikumi National Park in early afternoon for lunch and get a half-day game drive where at evening you will enjoy a beautiful sunset in the savannah.
Dinner and overnight at Mikumi Adventure Lodge (FB)
Day 2: Mikumi National Park
Morning after breakfast, you will depart for a full-day game drive with packed lunch box. It’s another day for exploring the open horizons and abundant wildlife of the Mkata floodplain, Lions survey their grassy kingdom and Zebras. Wildebeest, Impala and buffalo herds around their home range. From the flattened tops of termite mounds, or some times during the rains some animals like leopards perches high on the tree. Hopeful this park is a home of four among the big five animals such as Lion, Elephant, Leopard and Buffalo except Rhino.
Back to Dinner and Overnight at Mikumi Adventure Lodge. (FB).
Day 3: Mikumi to Ruaha National Park
This morning after breakfast at the lodge, you will drive to Ruaha National Park arrive afternoon and depart for a half-day game drive with packed lunch box. The park is one of the few Tanzania’s famous wilderness area where one can have a rare experience of game viewing spiced up by the fascinating landscape. The park is rich of plants and animals such as Greater Kudu (Tragelaphus strepsiceros) which cannot be found in any other national park.
Dinner and overnight will be at Ruaha Hilltop (FB).
Day 4: Full Game Drive in Ruaha National Park
After breakfast in the lodge, depart for the full game viewing as Ruaha is a largest national park in Tanzania and is a home of Hippos, Crocodiles, Water bucks, Buffalo, Leopard, Hyena, Wild dogs, Jackals, Lions, Antelope species such as Kudu, Impala, Sable antelope, Roan antelope, Grant gazelle, tiny Dik-dik along with Giraffe, Zebra, Warthogs, Mongoose, Porcupine, Wildcat, Civet and an astonishing 465 species of bird have been recorded in the park.
Dinner and overnight back to Ruaha Hilltop (FB)
Day 5: Ruaha National Park to Mikumi National Park
After breakfast at the lodge, Drive from Ruaha to Mikumi national Park. Arrive in early afternoon for hot lunch. where you will have a chance to experience Tanzania culture from one of the famous tribes (Maasai). Where at evening you will enjoy a beautiful sunset in the savannah.

Day 6: Day Trip to Udzungwa National Park
This morning after breakfast at the lodge, you will drive to Udzungwa Mountain for a full-day game drive with packed lunch box. The purpose of this trip is to show you the Natural habitats of this park. whereby after registering you will start climbing with a park guide, taking the Sanje route to be able to see the 4 stages waterfalls. Udzungwa is one of thirty-four World Biodiversity hotspots. Expect to see Primates. Udzungwa have 11 primate’s species whereby two of these are not found in the world, these are Sanje Mangabey (Cercocebus sanjei) and Iringa Red Colobus (Procobus gordonorum). Also, you may have the opportunity to see habituated Sanje Mangabeys, different endemic plant species, birds, reptiles and Amphibians, Butterflies, waterfalls, etc.

Day 7: Mikumi Adventure Lodge to Dar es Salaam
After breakfast at the lodge start your safari to back Dar es Salaam
