About Us
Our Manager, Gideon Makara, has extensive experience as a mountain porter, walking safari guide, mountain guide on Mt Kilimanjaro, Mt. Meru, Oldonyo Lengai (Mountain of God), an active volcano in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, and Mount Longido since early 1992.
Gideon has also been working on walking safaris in Ngorongoro Highlands, Maasai Steppe and most town/city tours including Arusha. He was also actively involved in in the production of a documentary in 2005 about the Maasai Tribe in Longido, Serengeti and Ngorongoro, and he was also guiding a charity group on Mt Kilimanjaro in 2007.
In addition, working as a tour organizer for different safari companies and a tour leader in all Tanzania national parks and Zanzibar Gideon has accumulated invaluable first hand experience he is happy to share to give our guests an experience of a lifetime.
With his extensive knowledge of flora and fauna and his passion for his country, Gideon at Ndovu Adventures welcomes everyone of you visiting his beautiful country Tanzania, to share with you his experience, the culture of his people, the Maasai, and the Meru, Chagga and many others.f

Our Fleet & Safari Vehicles
On all our safaris we make use of specially designed and converted Toyota Landcruisers.
We have put a lot of thought into adapting them to the rugged African bush, the rough conditions, and the bumpy roads, providing maximum comfort and at the same time ensuring the best safari experience for our guests.
Our safari vehicles have large sliding windows and pop-up roofs, offering excellent views and giving our guests fantastic opportunities for safe and undisturbed photography while on game drives.
